Betsy Sochar is an associate in the firm's New York office.
She is the author of the article "Shining the Light on Grayfields: A Wal-Mart Case Study on Preventing Abandonment of Big Box Stores Through Land Use Regulations," 71 Albany Law Review, 697 (2008).
Ms. Sochar graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor of arts in psychology. Ms. Sochar received her juris doctor degree from Albany Law School in 2008, where she was the executive editor of coordinating of the Albany Law Review. While at Albany Law, Ms. Sochar earned the Siegel Scholarship and the American Bar Association State and Local Government Law Prize.
Ms. Sochar is admitted to practice in New York. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the New York County Lawyers' Association.
