Scott Snider was born on July 5, 1970 in Jerseyville, Illinois, where he attended school and graduated from Jerseyville High School in 1988. Upon graduation from high school, Mr. Snider attended Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1992 with Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Political Science and Economics.
After obtaining his college degrees, Mr. Snider attended Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas and obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1995. Mr. Snider began his legal career as a Madison County Assistant State’s Attorney and in 1996 went to work with his current partners at Mormino, Velloff, Edmonds & Snider, formerly known as the Wiseman Law Firm. Mr. Snider was admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois in 1995 and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Madison County Bar Association. He currently resides in Alton, Illinois with his wife and four children.
Mr. Snider primarily represents clients in the areas of Family Law and Criminal Law. Specifically, Mr. Snider handles divorces, paternity, child support, custody and visitation disputes, maintenance modifications, adoptions, felonies, misdemeanors, DUls and traffic violations.
Mr. Snider has handled thousands of divorces and criminal cases in Madison, Macoupin, Jersey, Calhoun, Greene, Bond and St. Clair Counties, where he has earned the respect of his fellow attorneys and judges.
