Originally from Virginia Beach, Amanda relocated to the Northern Virginia area in 2009 to attend law school at George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, VA. Amanda has been with our firm since her start as a summer intern in 2010. During her internship, she displayed a determinate interest and talent for criminal defense work. Preferring to developer her legal skills through real-life work experience, Amanda stayed on as the firm’s law clerk throughout her final two years of law school, providing legal research and writing support to the senior attorneys. In her third year of law school , Amanda also had the opportunity to intern at the Fairfax County Public Defender’s office. Amanda has been representing clients in criminal and traffic cases since May 2011 pursuant to a Third Year Practice Certificate issued by the Virginia State Supreme Court. Amanda graduated from George Mason School of Law with a concentration in Criminal Law on May 19, 2012. Once Amanda learned she had passed the Virginia State Bar exam in October 2012, the firm hired her in her current position as Associate Attorney. At present, Amanda’s practice focuses on representing clients in traffic and criminal misdemeanor offenses while also providing assistance to the senior attorneys on more complicated matters.
