Frances has a broad-base of experience litigating business disputes and advising businesses on issues that arise every day. Recent highlights include:
* Securing a million-dollar judgment in an investment bank fee dispute, then winning on appeal;
* Winning a Second Circuit appeal of a mandatory arbitration clause;
* Counseling a gun manufacturer with respect to ITAR and procurement issues;
* Winning a false light invasion of privacy claim for an international rap artist;
* Counseling an electrical contractor on its national expansion, employment issues and litigation.
Before founding The Slusarz Law Firm, LLC, Frances practiced with national law firm Fox Rothschild, LLP. Before law school, Frances worked in human resources at General Electric, where she ran new employee orientation programs and coordinated training programs.
Outside the Law
Frances is a member of Women in Defense (an affiliate of the National Defense Industry Association) and the Executive Women's Golf Association. She teaches Level I Confirmation class at St. Mary's Church in Bethel, CT, where she also serves as a Lector. She has 3 daughters and spends her free time collecting yarn and knitting patterns she will never have time to knit.
