Christina Skubic graduated from Sonoma State University with a bachelor's degree in political science and a minor in international studies. She attended the McGeorge School of Law and New York Law School.
Ms. Skubic joined Brayton Purcell as an associate attorney in February, 1999. Her legal interests include asbestos litigation and bankruptcy practice. She supervises our Bankruptcy Department, which pursues remedies from defendants who have sought the protection of the bankruptcy courts but are legally responsible for personal injuries suffered by our clients. The Bankruptcy Department works with these debtors and the bankruptcy courts to permit recovery despite the bankruptcy of the defendant.
A member of the California bar, Ms. Skubic is also licensed to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Eastern and Northern California U.S. District Courts. She belongs to Public Justice and the American Bar Association.
Ms. Skubic's hobbies include softball, traveling and family activities. She is married with two children.
