Steve practices in the areas of insurance bad faith, personal injury, and government liability. He joined the firm in November of 2003 to focus his practice in the area of insurance claims litigation, serious personal injury, and consumer and civil rights cases. He has a varied practice. He is currently representing a family suing State Farm for abuse of process for making bogus arson allegations after their home was torched by firefighters. He is also representing a family suing Walmart for reporting bath time photographs to Child Protective Services, and Child Protective Services and the police for what they did. In the six years he has represented families and small businesses, he has obtained more than $10,000,000 from the country’s biggest insurance companies, including Allstate, Liberty Mutual, Farmers, Safeco, Country Companies, Allied, Hartford, and many others. He represents families and small businesses in a variety of insurance claims disputes, from water and fire cases to income disability claims.
Steve graduated seventh in his class at the University of Arizona in 1995. He was a law clerk to then-Arizona Supreme Court Justice Frederick Martone in 1995-96, and practiced on the defense side until 2003. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, grew up in California, and has lived in Arizona since 1992.
