INNA S. SHESTUL, ASSOCIATE, received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Sevastopol Institute of Instrument Making, in Sevastopol, Ukraine (former USSR) in 1990, and her J.D. from the Tulane University School of Law in 2000 and LLM from Boston University in 2001.
Ms. Shestul focuses her practice on preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a multitude of technological areas, including: electrical, electronics, computer software, computer networking, memory devices, telecommunications, semiconductor devices, flat panel displays, virtual machines/processors, fiber optics, lithography process and mechanical devices. She has experience rendering opinions regarding the invalidity and noninfringement of patents in various technological areas.
Her trademark prosecution experience focuses on preparing and prosecution trademark applications. Her trademark litigation experience includes preparation and filing cancellation and opposition proceedings.
Ms. Shestul is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and admitted to the bar in Virginia and Colorado. She is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, American Bar Association, Virginia State Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, and American Bar Association. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced intellectual property law at several law firms in Northern California and Colorado. Ms. Shestul is fluent in Russian and Ukranian.
