Jim Shepherd is a commercial / real property litigation attorney practicing primarily in the areas of contract litigation, landlord/tenant disputes, construction litigation, mortgage foreclosures, enforcement and defense of non-competition agreements, bankruptcy litigation, and real property disputes such as quiet title actions, enforcement of restrictive covenants, and disputes over contracts. Mr. Shepherd also represents clients on zoning and other planning issues in front of local, county, and city governments. Mr. Shepherd is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Mr. Shepherd obtained his law degree from Duke University School of Law, where he graduated with honors and was an editor and staff writer for Law and Contemporary Problems. Jim received his undergraduate degree from Duke University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Jim grew up in the Orlando area, and attended Lake Mary High School in Seminole County. He and his wife Brenda and his two sons live in Orlando.
