Sheikh, Lara R.

John J. Hoffman is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and Suffolk University Law School.  He is the founding partner of Hoffman Law Group, and has been an active trial attorney since 1978.  Prior to establishing Hoffman Law Group, he operated his own law practice in Walpole and Sharon for over 20 years. Throughout his career, John has concentrated his practice in family law, consisting primarily of divorce and parental rights involving custody and visitation. He is a highly respected trial attorney, and is a skilled negotiator.  Also, he is an advocate of the concept of “Divorce Coaching,” which utilizes the services of a qualified professional to resolve important parenting issues that may arise during the pendency of the case. 

John has been a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers for the past 23 years.  Also, he has served as a panelist for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education seminars and conferences, and he is a former Assistant District Attorney for Norfolk County. John is a lifelong resident of Walpole and he has two sons.  He is an officer of Walpole Country Club, and he an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction.
