Mr. Shapiro began working with Mr. Guerra as a law clerk in 2008 during law school. Instantly, Mr. Shapiro became infected by Mr. Guerra’s passion for representing victims of catastrophic personal injury. So, after graduating from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 2010 and being admitted to practice law in Arizona, Mr. Shapiro officially joined the Law Offices of Luis P. Guerra as an associate in November 2010. Like Mr. Guerra, Mr. Shapiro passionately and aggressively litigates cases on behalf of victims of catastrophic personal injury accidents.
During law school and in addition to working with Mr. Guerra, Mr. Shapiro gained practical and clinical experience. He participated in the Criminal Practice Clinic with the City of Phoenix Prosecutor’s office, where he tried and won multiple jury trials. Moreover, during law school, Mr. Shapiro also participated in the Advanced Writing Clerkship with the Maricopa County Superior Court, where he clerked for several Superior Court judges assigned to the civil bench.
Mr. Shapiro is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, the Maricopa County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Shapiro’s practice involves serious personal injury, wrongful death, and ranges from products liability, motor vehicle design, highway and street design, gas explosions, electrocutions, truck collisions, aircraft accidents, tire litigation, premises liability, insurance coverage law, appellate practice, and diversified pro bono work.
