Maurice "Mo" Shams is President and one of the co-founders of the Shams Law Firm. Practicing for over 45 years in Orlando and Central Florida, Mo has been a senior attorney, manager and founder of several other major law firms in Central Florida. Mo concentrates his practice in the areas of business and corporate commercial transactions, tax, real estate, estates and trusts, probate and estate planning.

Mo is a member of The Florida Bar and the American Bar Association. He is also an active member of each of their Tax, Real Property and Probate Sections.

Mo has obtained for over 25 years an "AV Preeminent" rating through the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory (“A” for “excellent ability”; “V” for “highly recommended”; "Preeminent" means "distinguished" and "outstanding").

Mo founded a tax course in the business school at Rollins College in Winter Park, and taught the course for over six years.
