James Seifter has 28 years experience in civil litigation. Over the course of his career, Mr. Seifter has handled dozens of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases which have resulted in recoveries of seven and eight figures for his clients. Mr. Seifter was co-counsel in the case of Franklin Ford v. Uniroyal Goodrich Tire Company which resulted in a $42.6 million jury verdict, one of the largest verdicts ever rendered in the state of Georgia.
Mr. Seifter has successfully represented clients obtaining million dollar plus recoveries in product liability cases against such manufacturers as General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Isuzu, Michelin and Uniroyal Goodrich. Mr. Seifter has also successfully represented clients obtaining million dollar plus recoveries in a number of medical negligence, premises liability and common carrier commercial trucking cases. Mr. Seifter is an active member of the Georgia State Bar and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Seifter is licensed to practice in all Georgia State Courts, The United District Court’s Northern Division and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Seifter received both his undergraduate degree and law degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Seifter has been married to Donna for 28 years and has one daughter Claire who is 21.
