For over the past decade Ms. Heller has focused on only one area of law that is her passion -- family law.  Divorce and family law is an ever-changing area.  By devoting her time and attention to the study and practice of divorce and family law, Ms. Heller is able to stay current with continual developments and changes.  Some lawyers handle family law cases along with criminal or bankruptcy or personal injury or other practice areas.  Ms. Heller devotes her legal practice solely to divorce and family law.  She consistently surpasses all annual requirements for continued legal education.  

Ms. Heller has an outstanding track record as a divorce and family law attorney and family law mediator and was named a "Leading Lawyer" by the Business Journal.  Her vast experience includes virtually all areas of family law, including divorces, complex child custody and parenting time, child support and child support arrears, paternity, spousal maintenance, post-decree modifications, third-party custody disputes (including grandparents' rights cases), prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and jurisdictional issues. 

Ms. Heller began her legal career as a civil litigator and began practicing exclusively in the area of divorce and family law in 2000. She has a great deal of personal insight and passion for client advocacy and financially-related issues. Ms. Heller is especially adept at providing advice in complex child support and arrearage matters. In her legal career to date, she has come to appreciate the detail and technical involvement necessary to handle complex child custody and property distribution cases and, as a result, is able to assist clients in achieving realistic goals.

In addition to  competence and legal knowledge, Ms. Heller possess compassion for the issues facing families in need of her services. She believes that it is important to have an attorney and/or mediator who will listen to the clients' wishes and concerns, and at the same time provide information to empower clients to reach their goals.

Ms. Heller completed a 40-hour family law ACR Certified Mediation Training with Coast to Coast mediation.  She has also completed the Full Team Interdisciplinary Collaborative Divorce Training and a Community Mediation Program with the Arizona Attorney General's office.

Ms. Heller is involved in various community, civil and professional activities. Ms. Heller also handled the appeal in the often-cited case, Hamblen v. Hamblen, 203 Ariz. 342, 54 P.3d 371 (Ariz.
