Mallory Schneider is a graduate of Florida State University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications as well as a minor in Sports Psychology in 2008. Throughout college, Mallory worked in the sports media industry as a broadcast journalist and a sports writer for, among others, the Associated Press, Fox Sports Florida and Scout Media, Inc. Then, Mallory attended Cumberland School of Law, where she was a dean’s list member every semester. While at Cumberland, Mallory was selected to serve as a Judge Abraham Caruthers’s Legal Research & Writing Fellow. As part of the top 15% percent of her law school class, Mallory was selected for a position on the Cumberland Law Review. There, she served as the Symposium Editor, and was responsible for organizing a spring symposium, which hosts various speakers to address relevant legal topics in front of fellow lawyers, students and the general public. Additionally, Mallory’s Comment, "Silence in the Courts": Alabama Judicial Inquiry Commission Rules of Procedure Silence Potential Ethical Violation Complaints Against Judges, was selected to be published in Volume 42 of the Cumberland Law Review. Mallory spoke on this topic in front of Birmingham business professionals in the summer of 2011.

In addition to her academic involvement, Mallory was involved with Cumberland’s nationally ranked trial advocacy program. Mallory represented Cumberland as a member of its National Moot Court Team, as well as its National Trial Team. Mallory also competed in many of Cumberland’s intra-school competitions. In 2010, Mallory’s moot court team placed third at the New York City Bar Regional Moot Court Tournament. In 2012, Mallory was selected to advocate on Cumberland’s American Association of Justice National Trial Team, wherein her team placed second at regionals to the other Cumberland team. Based upon her achievements in trial advocacy, in 2012, Mallory was selected as a member of the Order of the Barristers.
