Kent is an associate in the firm of Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association. He is a member of the Business Litigation Section.
Kent is licensed to practice in Minnesota and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
Born in Winona, Minnesota, Kent received his B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire, majoring in political science. He received his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law, where he was a note and comment editor of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. Kent joined Briggs in 2007.
