Timothy E. Hawks received his B.A. from Georgetown University and his J.D. from the University of Iowa. He is the author of "Future Damages in ADEA Cases", Marquette Law Review (1986) and is a frequent lecturer on the topics of union and employment law. Prior to engaging in private practice, he served on the staff of the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission.
A member of the Iowa and Wisconsin Bars, he is a past chair and a Union representative director of the State Bar's Labor and Employment Law Section. Mr. Hawks is a contributing author to "Wisconsin Employment Law," a three-volume treatise published by the State Bar of Wisconsin in 1994. He taught a labor relations course entitled "Industrial Relations in the Public Sector" for students enrolled in the Masters in Human Resources/Labor Relations Program at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
Representative clients include AFT-Wisconsin, Professional Firefighters of Wisconsin, Green Bay Education Association, Madison Teachers', Inc., and a number of attorneys' unions.
Mr. Hawks has been regularly listed in the annual issues of the The Best Lawyers in America for Labor and Employment Law and Milwaukee Magazine's Super Lawyers.
