Brian K. Harris is the Managing Partner of Harris & Harris Lawyers. Brian was born and raised in Southern California and graduated from Irvine High School, in Irvine, CA. In 1998, he received his Bachelor's Degree Cum Laude in political science from Utah State University. Brian graduated from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2000 near the top of his class. During law school, he was actively engaged in positions with the Student Bar Association and was a member of the distinguished Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity.
Brian quickly developed his knowledge and exceptional skills as a lawyer. Three months after his admittance to the Bar, he was appointed Washington County Public Defender, in St. George, Utah. During this time, he learned to manage a significant caseload and sharpened his skills as a litigator. Within two years of this admittance to the Bar, he had tried a number of cases to verdict.
In 2002, Brian joined one of Nevada's premier personal injury law firms, Mainor Harris. It was during this time, he gained invaluable knowledge and experience representing accident victims against major insurance companies. He further honed his skills as a litigate and gained a reputation as a tenacious negotiator.
In 2004, Brian formed Harris Schwartz before founding his current firm, Harris & Harris Lawyers, with partner Heather E. Harris in 2008. Brian has successfully resolved hundreds of personal injury cases in Nevada and Utah as well as serving clients nationwide. Brian is a sustaining member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which recognizes outstanding achievements of trial lawyers throughout the nation.
Brian is an active member of the Utah State Bar, Nevada State Bar, American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Utah Trial Lawyers Association, Nevada Justice Association (Sustaining Member and Board of Governors from 2005 to 2009), and Clark County Bar Association. He enjoys running, traveling and spending time with his family.
