Julianne Harper is an associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department. She joined the firm in 2010.
Practice
Ms. Harper's practice focuses on complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on intellectual property disputes. She has represented clients in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, genomics and computer architecture.
While in law school, Ms. Harper served as judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Jeremy Fogel in the US District Court for the Northern District of California where she researched and wrote legal memoranda and drafted orders in tort, contract, employment and intellectual property matters. At Santa Clara University, she served as the Senior Comments Editor for the Law Review, Volume 49, as well as on the Board of the International Law Students Association.
Community Involvement
Ms. Harper volunteers as a Citizen Teacher in Citizen Schools' mock trial program. Citizen Schools is a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing after-school education for middle-school children. She also works with Bay Area Legal Aid to help obtain legal status for undocumented immigrant victims of domestic abuse who aid in the official investigation of crimes.
