Eugene W. Salisbury practices in the areas of Labor & Employment and Employee Benefits. He regularly represents many labor unions, both locally and nationally. He is actively involved with collective bargaining, grievance and arbitration procedures and regularly practices before the New York and Federal courts as well as administrative agencies having jurisdiction in the labor relations field. Mr. Salisbury represents various employee benefit funds such as retirement, health and welfare, supplemental unemployment, apprentice and LECET plans. Mr. Salisbury served as Village Justice in Blasdell, New York, from 1961 until his retirement from the bench April 1, 2001.
Mr. Salisbury is a member of the Knights of Columbus 2220 and was the Village of Blasdell Centennial Legal Advisor. He was named Magistrate of the Year in 1973 by the New York State Magistrates Association, Jurist of the Year 2001 by the Erie County Judges and Police Conference, and Citizen of the Year by the Western New York Chapter of the Industrial Relations Research Association. He has been selected as a biographee in Best Lawyers in America, Who's Who Worldwide, Who's Who in Business and Finance and Who's Who in American Law. A Korean War veteran, Mr. Salisbury holds the Bronze Star, The Purple Heart, The Combat Infantry Badge and Paratrooper Wings.
