Diane Hankins, an Oklahoma native, joined Heckenbach Thompson Suazo & Dave LLP in 2010 and focuses her practice in the areas of family law, criminal defense and general civil matters. Prior to practicing law, Diane managed sales operations for a major international corporation. Diane’s compassion for helping others combined with her knowledge of the business world make her perfectly suited to represent clients in a broad range of matters. Diane specializes in family law cases including but not limited to dissolution of marriage, legal separation, allocation of parental responsibilities, paternity, post-decree modifications and enforcement, child support, contempt and guardianship. Diane also handles minor criminal matters, including but not limited to driving under the influence and traffic infractions.

Prior to joining the firm, Diane clerked in Arapahoe County District Court for the Honorable Judge Cheryl Post and the Honorable Judge Charles Pratt. Diane serves on the Judicial Committee for Colorado Women’s Bar Association and is active in many local bar associations.

In her spare time, Diane coaches runners and triathletes with Fast Forward Sports and enjoys competing in endurance events, hiking, yoga, snowboarding and road trips with her Great Dane. Diane has completed over 10 marathons, including two Bostons. Diane recently completed her first Ironman at Lake Placid and enjoys all that the Colorado outdoors has to offer.
