AshLee has experience in complex commercial litigation matters, including major chapter 11 bankruptcy filings. Some of the noteworthy matters she has been involved with include:
• represented Dana Corporation (debtor) in various adversary proceedings and contested matters, including complicated manufacturing disputes
• defended IBM in an action related to information provided in response to a subpoena (Michael D. Donnelly v. Cisco Systems)
• defended Kaiser Aluminum against Gramercy Alumina in a breach of contract action related to the sale of Jamaican operations
• represented Kmart Creditor Trust in a multimillion dollar accounting malpractice and breach of contract case against PricewaterhouseCoopers
• represented Montgomery Ward Holding Corp. and Montgomery Ward, LLC (the debtors and their successor estates) in various adversary proceedings, contested matters, and related appeals filed in serial retail bankruptcy cases, including multimillion dollar real estate, tax, and contractual matters
• represented NationsRent (debtor) against Mill's Pride Limited Partnership in a bankruptcy adversary proceeding involving the turnover of estate property and
• represented Cooper Tire in multiple consumer class actions in state courts across the nation.
AshLee is president of the board of directors for the Environmental Fund for Ohio, d/b/a Earth Share of Ohio, and is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association.
