Mr. Sánchez-Báez practices civil and commercial litigation, and is also engaged in administrative and government procurement law. Before joining the firm he worked at the Puerto Rico Supreme Court as Law Clerk for the Hon. Mildred G. Pabón-Charneco.

He earned his law degree, summa cum laude, from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico and served as teacher assistant in the Legal Research and Analysis course to Professor Carlos I. Gorrín-Peralta. Mr. Sánchez-Báez has also studied at the University of Oxford. He was an Associate Director for the volume forty-five of the Inter-American University Law Review. In 2011, he published the article "El Riesgo Permitido en el Código Penal de 2004", 45 Rev. Jurídica U. Inter P.R. 445 (2011).
