A 1995 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Nathan received his law degree (J.D.), with honors, from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1999. While at Wake Forest, Nathan served on the Wake Forest Law Review, and was admitted to the Order of the Coif. In 2004, Nathan received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in taxation from the University of Florida where the Graduate Tax Faculty selected him to receive the Richard B. Stephens Scholarship (most outstanding student in the tax program). During his year at the University of Florida, he served as a graduate assistant to Professor Martin J. McMahon, Jr. Nathan joined the Charlotte office of Wishart, Norris, Henninger & Pittman, P.A. in 1999. While in Charlotte, he served as a Big Brother with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Charlotte, and volunteered with the Mecklenburg County Teen Court. Upon earning his LL.M. degree, Nathan returned to the Burlington office of Wishart, Norris, Henninger & Pittman, P.A. Nathan is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and South Carolina.
