Dina L. Hamerman graduated summa cum laude from New York University and received her law degree from Columbia University School of Law. At Columbia, Dina was a Senior Editor of the Columbia Law Review, and a James Kent and Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. She served as a federal law clerk to Judge Alfred M. Wolin of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and Judge Leonard I. Garth of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Dina worked for many years in private practice at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP. At Debevoise, Dina represented clients in an array of general commercial and insurance-related litigation matters. She also counseled numerous companies in connection with internal and external investigations, including those concerning both federal and state law violations and international agency inquiries.
Dina is admitted to practice in New York, the Southern District of New York, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Dina lives in Great Neck, New York with her husband and three children.
