Mr. Halliburton’s practice at Computer Law Group focuses on complex intellectual property litigation on behalf of entrepreneurs, startups, and established companies. He also devotes part of his time to corporate work, helping start startups.
After stints as a software engineer and paralegal, Mr. Halliburton joined the Stanford IP Litigation Clearinghouse. There, he applied both his legal and technical knowledge and wrote specialized web crawlers and a rules engine that powered the world’s most comprehensive database of patent litigation (since spun out as Lex Machina).
Mr. Halliburton also covers IP and startup law for Tech Crunch. He has been programming since age ten.
