Attorney Mark Halberstam has more than 24 years of experience handling personal injury claims, including motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall accidents and workplace accidents throughout the New York City Metro area. With an established trial record, Mr. Halberstam has developed a solid reputation as an attorney who can successful represent clients after a wide range of accidents and injuries in New York.

Prior to opening his own private practice, Mr. Halberstam spent many years working for larger law firms and title insurance companies. For his first 15 years out of law school, when the state of New York did not yet require attorneys to take Continuing Legal Education courses to maintain their licenses, Mr. Halberstam was constantly reading, listening to and watching CLE books, audio tapes and video tapes. With that education, Mr. Halberstam was able to absorb information and focus on specific aspects of the legal process, including depositions, trials and gathering evidence.

While Mr. Halberstam currently represents only plaintiffs in personal injury claims, he spent several years prior to his private practice defending personal injury claims. As a defense (and plantiff's) lawyer, he has made court appearances at preliminary conferences, compliance conferences, depositions, no-fault arbitrations and other proceedings, while also writing and arguing motions. He continues to utilize that experience on behalf of his clients. Over course of many years, he has personally appeared numerous times in court in every single courthouse (Civil and Supreme) in the five counties in New York City, as well as the surrounding suburban counties.
