Max Hacker's professional path took a sharp turn after he earned a psychology degree in 1973. He was one of ten students invited into the top-rated University of Minnesota Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program. He eventually changed directions and began studying law, graduating from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1980. He has practiced exclusively in personal injury law ever since.
Max finds that his background of working closely with doctors helps him understand the medical and psychological aspects of injuries. Raised on a small farm in Indiana, he especially enjoys representing people from Minnesota's small farming towns. In light of his pre-law background, he takes a special interest in cases involving head injuries.
