Scarlett Guy became a member of the firm in July of 2009. Mrs. Guy was born in Hamilton, Ohio and grew up in Bruceton Mills, WV. She attended Fairmont State University and received a Bachelors of Arts in Education in 1995. Mrs. Guy taught as an educator for five years and then went on to receive her law degree from Stetson College of Law in December, 2002. She was admitted to practice law in 2003.
After law school, Mrs. Guy worked as a prosecutor in Manatee County and then went on to work as an Assistant Dean at Stetson University College of Law. Mrs. Guy owned and operated her own firm from 2005 - 2009. She has taught as an Adjunct Professor at Stetson University College of Law. She currently practices in the area of criminal and family law. She has handled cases involving simple traffic tickets to First Degree Murder. She has had numerous trials and has practiced at both the State and Federal level.
Mrs. Guy is a member of the Manatee County Bar Association, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Federal Bar admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
