Frank C. Rote, III is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After growing up in Akron, Ohio, Frank graduated from Xavier University. Frank graduated from the University of Akron School of Law in 1982. While beginning a law practice and family in Akron, Ohio, he studied federal and state taxation. Frank practiced law in Akron, Ohio, until moving to Oregon in 1989.
Frank is admitted to state and federal courts in Oregon including the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Frank practices in both the U.S. and Oregon Tax Court, as well as other trial courts.
Frank's practice emphasizes bankruptcy (debtor and creditor), taxation, estates, landlord-tenant and appeals.
In addition to the many clients Frank has helped over the years he has volunteered as a pro tem judge in Josephine County for over twenty years. Frank is also a panel arbitrator for the Josephine County Circuit Court.
