Carrie joined Martin & Jones in 2010. She received her undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa. After graduating with honors from Washington and Lee School of Law, Carrie clerked for the Honorable Hal Cobb, a federal judge in the U.S District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Carrie worked for an internationally recognized defense firm in Texas prior to moving to North Carolina in 2004. Carrie spent years honing her trial advocacy skills by defending large corporations and insurance companies. With time, she realized that her skills and ideologies were more aptly suited towards representing plaintiffs. She has practiced in the areas of medical malpractice, premises liability, toxic tort, and products liability. Currently, Carrie is focused on representing individuals who have been injured by defective pharmaceuticals or defective devices. Carrie is licensed to practice in North Carolina and Texas.
Carrie lives in Chapel Hill with her husband and four children. She enjoys running, cycling, and playing sports with her family.
