Jennifer is a partner in Lieff Cabraser's New York office whose practice is divided between antitrust litigation andpersonal injury cases. Jennifer was actively involved in the actions against Microsoft in several states and supervised administration of the eventual settlements. Jennifer currently represents clients in the SRAM, Publication Paper, and OPEC/CITGO antitrust cases.

In the personal injury field, Jennifer represented patients who suffered heart attacks or strokes, and the families of loved ones who died, after taking the arthritis and pain medication Vioxx. In litigation against Merck, the manufacturer of Vioxx, Jennifer collaborated closely with Lieff Cabraser partner Don Arbitblit, and with co-counsel in Barnett v. Merck. The case was tried in federal court in New Orleans and the jury reached a verdict in favor of Mr. Barnett, finding that Vioxx caused his heart attack, and that Merck’s conduct justified an award of punitive damages. In November 2007, Merck agreed to a $4.85 billion settlement for qualifying claims against Merck.

Jennifer is a former doctoral fellow at the RAND Corporation, where she researched issues related to law and economics, focusing on quantitative methods such as econometrics and other mathematical modeling. Jennifer has written extensively, including co-authoring Class Action Dilemmas: Pursuing Public Justice for Private Gain, a textbook on class actions and public policy.
