Michael Green was raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and attended the University of Alabama for both his Bachelor and Master degrees.  He is still an avid fan of his hometown football team, the Alabama Crimson Tide.  Michael moved to Portland in 1999, and graduated from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College in 2003.  Since joining the legal profession, Michael has concentrated his practice on criminal defense, though he has also had experience with corporate law, family law, and bankruptcy.  As a former professional musician, Michael continues to play in several local bands, and despite his busy schedule, plays shows about once or twice a month.

Michael is also a former prosecutor, an experience that has been invaluable in building a successful criminal defense practice.  He has tried dozens of cases, and is extremely comfortable in the courtroom.  Most importantly, Michael understands the needs and concerns of his clients, and is willing to pursue any and all legal means of protecting his clients' interests.

In his spare time, besides playing music, Michael likes to hike, bicycle, kayak, camp, and spend time with his wife.
