Lilia has experience in representations of employers in all areas of employment law before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. These representations include individual, class, and collective matters relating to the laws of the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. Lilia also has been involved with counseling employers on labor and employment compliance issues such as personnel policies, wage and hour issues, and personnel actions.
Lilia is a member of the Houston Bar Association and author of "Database Security Breach Notification Statutes: Does Placing the Responsibility on the True Victim Increase Data Security," 43 Hous. L. Rev. 1597 (2007).
