Irina C. Rodriguez is an associate in the New York office where she works primarily in the antitrust and complex litigation practice groups.
Ms. Rodriguez' merger and antitrust counseling experience includes coordinating responses to second requests and civil investigative demands issued by the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission as well as analyzing potential competitive effects in transactions involving the pharmaceutical, hospital, telecommunications, can manufacturing, food packaging and supermarket industries.
Ms. Rodriguez' antitrust litigation experience includes matters in the Second Circuit and the Southern District of New York. A Clayton Act action involving the merger of two health insurance companies and a Section 2 price-fixing case in the carbon fiber manufacturing industry are representative.
In 2005, Ms. Rodriguez was selected to take part in the Department of Justice's Summer Law Intern Program where she worked in the Antitrust Division and participated in a Third Circuit appeal involving the international parcel tanker shipping industry.
Ms. Rodriguez' pro bono experience includes representation of low-income women in ongoing divorce, child support and spousal maintenance matters in the Supreme Court of New York and Family Court.
