SARA GORMAN RAJAN received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Oakland University in 1998, her Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School in 2002, and her Masters' Degree in Political Science from Wayne State University in 2004. Ms. Rajan was an oralist on the Wayne State National Moot Court Team. She was selected as best overall oralist of the Wayne State University Moot Court program in 2002 and received the Best Oralist award at the University of Dayton Cybercrimes Moot Court Competition.
While attending law school, Ms. Rajan interned for Judge Helene N. White of the Michigan Court of Appeals and for Wayne County Prosecutor's Office in the Child and Family Abuse Bureau. Ms. Rajan was also selected for publication in Who's Who in American Law Students, and has a number of articles currently under review for publication.
After completing her Masters' Degree, she served briefly as the Director of Government and Community Affairs for a non-profit community health organization before joining Stark Reagan as a litigation associate in 2004.
Ms. Rajan is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association and is admitted to practice in the Michigan State Court and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Ms. Rajan was appointed to the Legislative Committee for the Oakland County Bar Association, a limited committee whose purpose is to promote the OCBA's position on current and pending legislation that affects the practice of law and the administration of justice.
