"I began my career as an attorney in 1991 and officially founded my own law firm on July 1, 1992 in Pitman, Gloucester County, New Jersey. I began my business and built my law practice the old fashioned way — with nothing but determination and hard work. I started with one client and essentially nothing to go on but my good name and reputation. In a very short time I built a law practice that has provided thousands of clients with personalized legal services, competing head to head with the best of the "big" law firms. This success I can attribute to the support of faithful clients, good friends and loyal associates from Pitman and the Gloucester County area who have entrusted all of their legal concerns to my law firm. I refer to my practice as a family law practice, because I am considered "the lawyer" for many families.
In 1997, I expanded my practice to include an office in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where I established a thriving new office which included a significant Spanish speaking clientele. I am fluent in Spanish; having studied and spoken Spanish for more than 30 years.
Over these 20 years I have provided honest and reliable legal services in several areas of the law including personal and small business debt negotiation and resolution, and personal and small business bankruptcy reorganizations. I have represented thousands of clients with intelligent, practical and profitable legal advice in cases before the Bankruptcy Courts, Municipal Courts and Family Courts. I have provided legal counsel and Court representation in matters involving Wills and Estates, Real Estate Purchases and Sales as well as many successful Personal Injury cases in which I have won large monetary settlements and verdicts on behalf of individuals and families who have been severely injured or lost a loved one in an automobile accident.
In 2008, my daughter, Sarah Drinkwater Berry, Esquire, joined the firm, adding her specialized knowledge of Immigration and Law. We hope to expand this area of practice to assist honest and needy immigrants properly navigate their way to permanent resident status and citizenship. We know how to help you follow the law and avoid deportation."
