Christian is assigned to both the Litigation as well as the Governmental Relations practice groups of the Law Firm. He's based in the New Orleans office of Roedel Parsons but frequently operates out of the Baton Rouge office as well. Some of his Governmental Relations clients include Taylor Energy Company, Turner Industries, British Patroleum and Kaufman Films.
Christian's career in Governmental Relations started as the New Orleans Liaison for the Randy Ewing for Governor Campaign. After the campaign ended, he moved to Arlington, Va. to take a position at the Pentagon, where amongst other capacities; he served as a legal analyst. He left the Pentagon to pursue his Juris Doctor from the Loyola University at New Orleans. After graduation, he began his work with Roedel Parsons.
At Roedel Parsons, Christian has successfully tried cases involving client exposures exceeding 5 million dollars. His litigation practice is currently completely absorbed by being a primary litigator in the property acquisition of the new LSU/VA medical center complex currently underway in the City of New Orleans, which happens to be the largest construction project taking place in the southern United States, a 2.6 billion dollar venture. Christian has also served as British Petroleum's liaison to Governor Bobby Jindal. As such, he briefed the governor as much as twice a day, on the status of the Deepwater Horizon event for approximately 5 consecutive months.
Christian is proud of his civic engagements. He is an active member of the Louis A. Martinet Society, the New Orleans and Baton Rouge Bar associations, and A.P. Tureaud Inn of Court. In 2010, he was appointed by Mayor Mitchell J. Landrieu to the newly formed New Orleans Recreational Development Commission (NORDC) formally known as NORD. Additionally, he is a board member of Liberty's Kitchen, a non-profit entity providing culinary training and employment to at-risk youth in New Orleans.
Christian received his B.A. in Philosophy from Fordham University at Rose Hill and his J.D. from Loyola University at New Orleans. He, and his wife Robin, live in New Orleans and are exceedingly proud of their year old son, Claiborne.
