Dr. Georgieva represents clients in the life sciences areas, especially in the fields of biotechnology, molecular biology, biology, biochemistry and immunology.
Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Georgieva worked as a scientific advisor at another New York City law firm, where she focused on biotechnology patent prosecution.
Professional Activities
Dr. Georgieva earned her PhD in molecular genetics from Columbia University. Her research interests were in the areas of cellular and molecular responses to genotoxic stress. Dr. Georgieva has published work in peer-reviewed journals, such as Cell and Molecular and Cellular Biology. While pursuing her PhD, Dr. Georgieva was a graduate teaching assistant for the “Advanced Eukaryotic Genetics” course in the fall of 2001.
