Lee Radford handles commercial matters, including both transactions and litigation, from the firm's Idaho Falls office. His practice has covered a wide variety of matters impacting business, including issues involving contracts, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, banking, employment, technology, construction, environment, securities, debtor-creditor, and real property.
Mr. Radford has also specialized in litigating toxic tort claims involving exposures to toxic or radioactive substances in the environment and in the workplace, particularly involving facilities owned by the Department of Energy. Mr. Radford has litigated expert testimony from a broad variety of academic and scientific disciplines.
Mr. Radford joined the firm in 1997 after leaving his position as an income partner at the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago. Mr. Radford is a member of the Idaho and Illinois bars. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Brigham Young University in 1986. In 1989, Mr. Radford received his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, where he served as executive editor of the Brigham Young University Law Review. Following law school, Mr. Radford served a one-year judicial clerkship for Utah Supreme Court Justice I. Daniel Stewart.
