Richard Casey was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1976. After graduating from Needham High School in 1994, he attended the University of Massachusetts where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Political Science. Richard moved to Colorado in 2001 and worked in the insurance industry before attending the University of Denver, Strum College of Law. While attending law school Richard met his wife, who is currently an attorney with the Public Defender’s Office in Denver. The couple welcomed a son, Quinn, into the world in 2010.
Focusing his studies on civil litigation, Richard was part of the University’s nationally renowned civil litigation clinic where he helped indigent clients get justice while practicing law in Denver District Court under the student practice act. Richard graduated from the University of Denver in 2007 and was admitted to the Colorado Bar in October, 2007. Richard is licensed to practice in all Colorado State courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Richard has dedicated his practice over the last few years towards helping his clients obtain positive outcomes in civil litigation involving personal injury in Colorado, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. During that time Richard has successfully tried and won several cases, and has also settled numerous cases favorably for his clients. Richard has also participated in mediations and arbitration, and has performed appellate work in the Colorado Supreme Court and the U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
