Clay Garside was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. He graduated summa cum laude from Spring Hill College and magna cum laude from Tulane Law School, where he served as Associate Editor of the Tulane Law Review and was admitted to the Order of the Coif. Following law school, he clerked for the Honorable Carl J. Barbier of the United States District Court in the Eastern District of Louisiana. He joined Waltzer Wiygul & Garside, LLC in 2007 and is currently the resident partner in the New Orleans-Eastbank office. He litigates an active docket of the firm’s environmental, commercial, maritime, regulatory, and public law cases.
