Amanda Prutzman is an associate attorney and member of the Banking and Finance Practice Group. Amanda's practice focuses on civil litigation for businesses and individuals. She has successfully represented clients in the Minnesota Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Amanda represents financial institutions with both retail and commercial matters such as collections, Uniform Commercial Code issues, replevin, modifications, and workouts. She also provides regulatory compliance services and representation in lender liability actions before state and federal agencies and courts.
Amanda is a native of South-Central Wisconsin and obtained her undergraduate and Juris Doctor Degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While attending the University Of Wisconsin Law School, she worked for Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson and was a member of the Moot Court Executive Board. Prior to joining Eckberg Lammers, Amanda previously assisted clients with business and individual bankruptcies in Madison, Wisconsin. She now applies those bankruptcy skills to assist creditors in bankruptcies and adversary proceedings.
Amanda is admitted to practice in all Minnesota and Wisconsin state, federal and bankruptcy courts. She is active in various state and local bar associations and regularly provides pro bono assistance through the Minnesota State Bar Association Animal Law Section. Amanda is also a founding member and the current Secretary of Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue of Minnesota, a non-profit animal rescue serving the Twin Cities and Western Wisconsin.
