Michael A. Friedman concentrates his practice on bankruptcy and complex commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Friedman served as law clerk to Chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Paul G. Hyman.
Mr. Friedman is an active member of the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Southern District of Florida and the Florida Bar Business Law Section.
Mr. Friedman is a member of the Florida Bar and has been admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle District of Florida. He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While attending law school, Mr. Friedman was an executive board member of the Moot Court Team, where he was the Best Advocate and Best Brief Award recipient for the ABA Boston Regional Competition and the Best Brief Award recipient for the New York Bar Atlanta Regional Competition. He was also a teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing and Appellate Advocacy, a member of the University of Florida Law Review and selected for membership in the Order of the Coif. Mr. Friedman earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts, summa cum laude, from the University of Florida College of Fine Arts.
