Ira H. Polon is a partner at Dickstein Shapiro who joined the firm in 1971. Mr. Polon focuses his practice on corporate law and heads the firm's mergers and acquisitions section. With his substantial experience in mergers, acquisitions, and financings, he has personally directed the representation of buyers and sellers in more than 160 transactions. In connection with his transactional work, he has supervised teams of as many as 30 attorneys with experience in a variety of legal areas, including real estate, antitrust, intellectual property, tax, environment, litigation, and employee benefits. Additionally, he has had primary responsibility for numerous transactions with venture capitalists and organizations providing equity to Dickstein Shapiro clients. He has represented issuers and underwriters in connection with a number of public offerings.
