Since 1969, Harlan Crossman has practiced Workers Compensation law and since 1972, he has devoted his legal practice to representing Arizona workers injured on the job. Mr. Crossman is a Arizona State Bar Board Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation Law and has been since 1978. He has taught law school courses on Workers' Compensation at Arizona State University School of Law.
Mr. Crossman is a member of the State Bar and State Bar Committees on Workers' Compensation and served a number of years on the Compensation Rules Ad Hoc Advisory Committee of the Industrial Commission of Arizona. He was appointed as a Judge Pro Tempore to the Arizona Court of Appeals and served four years as the Chairman of the Arizona Workers' Compensation Wage Advisory Commission. In addition, he is currently a Disciplinary Hearing Officer appointed by the Arizona Supreme Court to preside over attorney disciplinary actions.
Mr. Crossman practices exclusively in this field and has spoken at seminars on this subject sponsored by the State Bar of Arizona, Arizona Trial Lawyers' Association, Arizona Workers' Compensation Association and the Arizona Self-Insurers Association. He is published in this area. He has published articles relating to injured workers in Arizona in the Arizona State Law Journal, The Arizona Bar Journal, and The Arizona Attorney.
