Pinkerton, Brooke A.

Dennis M. Pilawa was born in Utica, New York. He came to the Cleveland area to attend law school at Case Western Reserve University. Mr. Pilawa is active in many civic and school organizations. He has worked both as in house counsel and in private practice, serving a variety of client needs. Mr. Pilawa has developed his practice and focus in the following areas: Labor/Employment/Employment Practices Liability; Product Liability/Toxic Tort; Premises Liability; Professional Negligence; Insurance Coverage/Bad Faith; Auto Liability; Transactional Matters; Intellectual Property; and all areas of Insurance Defense. Dennis has received the designation of Ohio Super Lawyers in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 based upon peer review and evaluation. Only 5% of Ohio lawyers are honored in this manner.

Finally, in 2009, Dennis was honored by his selection as a Fellow in Litigation Counsel of America. The Litigation Counsel of America is an invitation only trial lawyer honorary society. Membership is limited to 3500 Fellows, representing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellows are selected and invited into Fellowship after being evaluated on effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation and trial work, along with ethical reputation.
