Mr. Forman is also experienced in the area of Non-Profit Organization and Association Law. He has organized non-profit entities and assisted organizations in obtaining tax-exempt status.
Mr. Forman has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Probate Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. He has also been a member of the Rules and Practice Committee of the Probate Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
Mr. Forman received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, where he served on the Law Review. After graduation from Penn, he became a judicial law clerk to the late Honorable Marvin Katz, U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Throughout his career, Mr. Forman has practiced estates law with some of the most respected firms in the region, including as trust officer and estate administrator at what is now Wells Fargo Bank, and with the estates groups at Montgomery McCracken and Schnader Harrison in Philadelphia.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Forman completed doctorate course work in the field of English Literature. He taught in the English Department at Temple University in Philadelphia and worked as an administrator for Upward Bound, a federal program for underprivileged high school students.
Mr. Forman is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and before the U.S. Tax Court.
