Joshua A. Pendley was born and raised in the small community of Oxford, Georgia and has lived his entire life in the state of Georgia. After graduating from Newton County High School in nearby Covington, Georgia, Josh attended the University of Georgia, where he earned a Governor’s Scholarship. Josh graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, Magna Cum Laude, in 2003 and was a member of the Honors Program, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Golden Key International Honor Society, and was named an All-American Scholar by the U.S. Achievement Academy. After graduation, Josh attended UGA School of Law, where he had the opportunity to observe the highest court in the state behind the scenes. Josh earned his Juris Doctor degree, Cum Laude, in 2006, becoming a “double dawg” and graduated in the top 20% of his class. After law school, Josh worked for several years at a small but dedicated firm in Covington, Georgia, assisting those who had been injured and needed help, whether at work, by bad drivers, or by medical malpractice. He continues to help such clients at Singleton & Singleton in Griffin, Georgia with many different legal issues. Outside of the practice of law, Josh is an avid reader and enjoys nothing more than cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves.
