Paul J. Connolly is a 1983 graduate of Cornell University and a 1986 graduate of Albany Law School of Union University. In 1995, Attorney Connolly founded The Law Office of Paul J. Connolly. He is admitted to practice before all the courts of the State of New York, the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. For over 20 years, Attorney Connolly has concentrated on appeals, including both civil and criminal appeals, as well as post-judgment motions in criminal cases. He has argued appeals at the Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court, the New York State Court of Appeals ( New York 's highest court) and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He has presented post-judgment motions before the New York Supreme Court, various County Courts in New York State , and the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. He has won civil appeals in such areas as Insurance law, personal injury, no-fault automobile law, family law, divorce law, and contract law. He has had convictions overturned on appeal for offenses including murder, assault, burglary, rape, various sexual offenses, and criminal contempt. He has also had judgments of conviction vacated on post-judgment motions. He has presented more than 200 appeals in State and Federal Courts.
