Buddy received a B.A. from Northwestern University in 1969 and a law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 1973. Prior to joining the firm in 1976, Buddy was the law clerk to a United States District Judge in the Eastern District of Michigan. Since joining the firm in 1976, Buddy's practice encompasses all phases of litigation, with emphasis on product liability, environmental law, insurance law, and personal injury. He has also handled numerous commercial, trade regulation, and construction cases at both the trial and appellate levels. Buddy has been a member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association and Defense Research Institute, Federal Bar Association, and Idaho Bar Association. Buddy is the Adjunct Professor of Insurance for the University of Idaho College of Law, and has taught numerous seminars on insurance and litigation topics in both Washington and Idaho.
